LegitEarner is an editorial filter for the AI tools people use to build an income. We cut a very long list down to the few that fit what you are actually trying to do.
Why This Site Exists
Anyone looking into AI as a way to earn runs into the same wall, and it is not a shortage of information. It is the opposite. There are lists of fifty tools, threads with two hundred replies, and a new best AI tool video every day. The net result is that most people read for weeks and start nothing.
The problem is that almost all of that content is written to be popular rather than to be decided from. It ranks tools by name recognition, skips the details that would eliminate a tool for you specifically, and never mentions what it costs to walk away.
So we do the narrow thing instead. We pick a small number of areas, test the tools inside them against a fixed set of criteria, and publish what we found in a form you can make a decision from. If a tool is bad for beginners, we say so. If a free plan is a trial in disguise, we say that too.

How We Test
Every tool that appears here goes through the same five questions in the same order. The order matters, because the last one eliminates more tools than the first four combined.

Can you complete a full unit of real work without paying, or does the plan exist to collect a card?
- 02Export freedom
Does your work leave in a usable format, or is it locked to the platform that produced it?
- 03Learning curve
How long until it is useful, and is that time defensible for somebody starting out?
- 04Support quality
When it breaks, does a human respond, and inside what kind of window?
- 05Exit cost
What do you lose if you leave in six months? This is the criterion almost nobody publishes.
What We Will Not Publish
These are not preferences. They are rules, and they hold even when breaking one would perform better.
No income claims. No dollar figures, no timeframes to a result, no here is what you could make. We have no way of knowing what you will earn, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing in a confident voice.
No invented proof. No testimonials we did not receive, no user counts we cannot verify, no screenshots of results that are not ours.
No paid placement. A company cannot buy a position, a rating or a mention here. Scoring happens before any commercial relationship is considered, and a tool that fails a criterion stays marked as failing it regardless of what it pays.
No coverage outside our three areas. If it falls outside AI affiliate marketing, AI tools and automation, or AI art and print on demand, we have not tested it, so we do not offer an opinion.
How We Get Paid
Two ways, and both are visible to you.
Some outbound links to third party tools are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the company pays us a commission and you pay the same price you would have paid otherwise. Every one of those links carries a disclosure directly beneath it.
We also sell the AI Money Dashboard, which we built and own. It is never required to access anything free on this site.
The free playbook and the Dashboard are two separate paths. The playbook is free and complete on its own, and buying the Dashboard requires no email signup. Neither one gates, unlocks or discounts the other.
